Tonight we take our first flight in the brand-new AS365 Dauphin from Taog’s Hangar, one of the most capable and versatile twin-engine helicopters ever built.
This is very much a learning session as we get to grips with the aircraft from the ground up. We’ll explore the cockpit, avionics, systems, flight characteristics, and handling before taking to the skies to see what the Dauphin is really capable of.
Once we’re comfortable with the aircraft, we’ll put it to work with a series of SkyOps missions from SayIntentions, carrying out realistic helicopter operations that showcase the Dauphin’s versatility in a working environment.

About the Flight – Learning the Dauphin
Tonight is all about discovery.
We’ll begin at Moore Abbey Airfield (EIME), taking time to familiarise ourselves with the Dauphin before making a short flight to Shannon Airport (EINN). From there, we’ll launch into a variety of SkyOps missions, putting the helicopter through its paces in realistic operational scenarios while learning how this iconic aircraft performs in the environments it was designed for.
From emergency services and offshore transport to search and rescue, the AS365 Dauphin has earned a reputation as one of the world’s most versatile helicopters. Tonight, we begin learning why.
